Two years into looking for a suitable Airstream my wife and I finally took the plunge. We found a private party selling a 1999 25c foot safari for $17500. Seller pretty firm and everything worked. They were selling for medical reasons. It also had two a/c units. One installed in 2011, newer 2013 unit installed above the bed . Sway bar system installed as well. They removed the remaining clear coat and polished it. I think that's what we fell in love with. I guess I am looking for affirmation we didn't overpay. We did spend another 2k making it our own, wood floors, new faucets, refurbed the cabinets, new upholstery on couch and dinette, new toilet and base, new gas regulator. Nervous about appraisal. I still need insurance to make sure i can get a decent replacement value. Any thoughts from the people in the know? Will post some pictures soon, almost done with it.
