On our 1991 350 LE, the pervious owner installed a new Dometic low profile AC, but the drip pan is cracked and leaking.
I have seen the new catchment system, and I am able to get the unit on and off the roof.
What I need a little info about is this:
As I understand it, the current drain system is actually a "catch pan" installed as an extra part under the AC, that should be sealed to the roof sheets?
And, the new catch system comes with a new gasket to double the original for added height. So, since this AC has been installed and clamped down, should I replace the old gasket to re-install the unit with the new catch pans or with the supplied gasket be ok?
Thanks in advance for any input.

JD
