We just listed our 1973 Airstream Sovereign for Sale on Airstream Classifieds.

The Sovereign model is an Airstream manufactured for long-term living. With its abundant storage and length, the Sovereign was a great alternative to park model RVs.
This is a 1973 dual-axle, rear-bath, mid-ship twin-berth Sovereign, VIN# 13IT3 J3809, and is in near-original condition. Manufactured in January, 1973, in Jackson Center, Ohio, front and rear axles are rated with a GAWR of 3200 lbs. each, and a total GVWR of 7100 pounds. It has an electric lift tongue jack installed, and the original four-corner stabilizers are in working order.
There are no dents in the body panels and it has been stored in covered-shop storage when not in use. This Sovereign has the dome vista-view windows above the three living area windows, and all windows function properly with the original glass intact. The banana wraps have normal wear with a few dents. Fully-functioning curbside Zip-Dee awning.
Original rear bath with sliding fan-fold brown opaque textured shower door and hand-held shower head. The Thetford toilet is new, and all water lines have been replaced with PEX. Two large hanging closets flank either side of the aisle and the original pocket door between the bath and berth areas is in proper working order.
Mid-ship dual twin berths has overhead cabinet storage. Each berth has three-bin under-bed storage, with the original brown bins intact, and folds up for interior access to wheel-well storage.
Original galley in proper working order with all original fixtures and appliances, with the exception of the removal of the original Dometic refrigerator. The wall-mounted Airstream Custom Magic Chef oven and 4-burner stovetop are in working order.
Original front gaucho removed. The carpet has been replaced with Pergo laminate flooring, and there are new curtains in the living and berth areas.
This Airstream still has its original Suburban AC, but is scheduled to have a new dealer-installed Coleman unit-control AC installed at Denton, TX, on June 12. Refrigerator will most likely be replaced with a new and lighter all-electric unit. Original Atwood water heater works just fine. No leaks in the water system.
This Sovereign is a solid, towable Airstream. Once the new AC and refrigerator have been installed,it will be in ready-to-use condition. The price includes the La-Z-Boy outdoor furniture pictured and the installation of the new AC and refrigerator. The new AC has already been purchased. Negotiable on the price without the furniture or refrigerator.
