Hello all. I have enjoyed reading everything on this forum and have always wanted an Airstream. That's why I have come to the "High Council" for advice.
I live in Cincinnati and work out of the Detroit airport area (I know). Instead of continuing to live out of hotels, I was thinking of buying a vintage airstream and parking it at a campground or RV park. Weather wise, this would be possible for about seven months realistically.
The trailers I have been looking at have typically been 23 foot safari's, as I would be towing this thing periodically with a SUV with a V-8.
My wife comes from a RV family but, so far has NOT contracted alumnitus. ( I am still working on that one).
Am I on the right track size-wise? Does this seem like a reasonable plan? Any feedback will be appreciated because I am quite sure there are angles I haven't even considered. I await the High Council's reply.
Thank you all in advance
Marty
