Different time signature loops?

Hey everyone! First newbie question: I need two channels to have different time signatures, I read the starting guide but I couldn't understand how to do this, basically channel one should play 5 beats (subcycles if I understood correctly) and channel two to play 7 but when I try to do it, channel 2 plays like 10 beats, I mean that it plays the 7 beats that I recorded and then 3 of silence but I need it to reach 7 and go back. Is this possible? How is this done? Thanks in advance.
