We're moving our bathroom and tanks from the rear to over the axles and putting the bedroom at the back of our 1970 overlander.
Before I put the belly pan back on I have a question for all the experts here.. Should I remove the old chassis extension that airstream added to mount the rear tank - or leave it on and belly pan around it?
I'm thinking it would save weight to remove it - there's nothing at the back that needs the extra support, right?
Or should I leave it to give the rear ended frame that extra stability?
