old electric wires

Hello, I'm restoring my 1959 Streamline I wouldn't take inner skins apart replacing old electric wires. I thougth getting the old wires like a pulling guide knoting new ones' to the end. This way is not good because olds' seem to be glue inside the wall, they don't flow out. Any idea for my goal?
