Hi,

Have been reading this forum since last year when we started looking at Airstreams but hadn't gotten around to registering.

We have been pop up owners since the late 90's. I got quite ill in 2012 and we decided life was too short so we bought a 2003 VW Westfalia. We loved it but it was just too tight. Started looking around, gave up on Roadtreks real quick and started looking at light weight trailers. We went to Can Am in London to look at the Altos and actually made a deal on one. We did look at the Airstreams as well and the group there assured us that out Outback could easily handle a Sport.

I came home and did a bunch of research and made the plunge, redid the deal with Kirk and Joe and we got our new baby in June 2014.

Did a decent trip in it last year down thru NY state over to Maine, up to Bar Harbor and then up to Quebec City and over to Tadousac to see the whales. Had to add a tranny cooler but other than that the Outback tows it with ease, even in the mountains in the heat.

Absolutely love our Bambi, the bed is a little tight but I am getting used to it.

Love playing around in it, doing upgrades almost as much as travelling. We can wait till we retire in a few years and get to really travel.

Sorry for the long introduction .
