Hi. So I'm in love with Avions. I've been to look at one nearby and am going back tomorrow so I thought I'd post here and get some thoughts from you and things to look for. I started a thread on general interior about smoke, since it was a smokers trailer. I think I'm ready to tackle that but I had some Avion specific questions.
I want to paint the interior (after scrubbing, scrubbing and scrubbing some more!), has anyone done this? I see that Zolatone is a coating of choice, and I like the look of crisp white look. I want to paint the woodwork inside and out. We're thinking of taking the sleeper couch out and getting a whole new unit.
We need new flooring, there is a slight sag in the middle floor area of the trailer, and I don't know how big of a deal that is, can you run new joists easily, if that's even what's needed?
We're planning on checking out all the systems and doing some good poking around. But I would love to know exactly what to look for in these trailers. I'm willing to give it some substantial leeway because I love the layout. Twin beds in the back is something I've been on the hunt for.
Also price. They have it listed for $14,000, but are, "very flexible on the price" and have already said they will take a couple thousand off. They're moving so I think they are motivated to sell it.
