2005 Bambi Safari ceiling yellowed

The ceiling material on the 2005 Bambi I recently purchased is all yellowed and has not weathered well... any suggestions on removal? Is it glued on?? I could try to find a corner that is concealed and scratch away at it, but thought I'd check here first to see if this is a common issue.
