I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This Land Yacht has been updated and restored in key areas:
gas/electric Dometic fridge
gas/electric water heater (new 2011)
all new water lines
electrical updated
Dometic toilet (new 2011)
cork floor & vinyl floor (bathroom)
When purchased in 2011, front floor at water tank and rear at bathroom were "soggy" - trailer was stripped down to the skins & subfloor replaced.
Two windows replaced with Lexan (rock hit the front left window).
All screens replaced.
Awning in great shape & fully functional.
Original Magic Chef 3-burner stovetop & oven are both in tiptop shape.
This is the last year Airstream used teak interior! The teak is beautiful in great condition
The exterior of the trailer was professionally painted; it is not polished aluminum; once you research the cost of hand polishing an Airstream trailer, you might be glad to have the painted version. Some marks on paint and a few scratches.
Trailer interior repainted & styled for functional, retro fun for the whole family. Cushions recovered on convertible couches, bamboo blinds. Incredible storage.
Bathroom features tub/shower (life saver with small kids).
We towed her up to Northern Ontario & back (3800 km) this summer with a 3500 Dodge, up the north shore of Lake Superior, and she travelled like a dream. We have also towed with our 1989 Jeep Wagoneer.
Tires, bearings all in great shape. A/C and furnace not functional.
Exterior and interior changed to LED
Comes with: original re certified 60lb Aluminium propane tanks (2), trailer hitch/sway bar, portable grey water tank (new 2011), all hoses, inverter (new 2014), etc.
