80% of the time we use our AS, it's plugged into 30amp. We have 1 battery and it's no problem. 20% of the time we boondock and need more battery power.
I'd like to add a battery to the camper only on boondocking trips. There's room for an additional battery behind the propane tanks.
Can I simply add a 7 pin female receptor to the extra battery's box? When I arrive at destination, unplug the pigtail from the truck and plug it into the battery box?
Should there be an inline fuse or isolater in the battery box? The 2 batteries will be very similar and I plan to rotate.
Thanks...
