1957 Yellowstone VIN help

Paging all 50's - 60's Yellowstone owners out there! I'm trying to uncover the VIN number on a 57 Yellowstone which I expect is on the tongue somewhere (have looked everywhere else to no avail). Can anyone direct me to exactly where this is located on this model? I can't see even the faintest outline of a number anywhere, and I've got pretty sharp eyes. Don't want to strip away any more paint than I have to.
