40 gal water tank from a 1967 Tradewind FREE

Here's the water tank we removed from our 67 TW. I don't see any cracks and it seems to be intact, whoever wants it can take it away. It looks perfectly useable. Come on over and say hello to a fellow Airstreamer!

This is a beautiful Vintage 1967 17ft AIRSTREAM CARAVEL Travel Trailer that is completely original and one of the nicest specimens you’re likely to see. 1966 – 1968 were the only model years which incorporated the aesthetically pleasing Corning curved glass windows. We possess a clear title with no liens or encumbrances. The exterior skin is in exceptional condition. PET-FREE & SMOKE-FREE it has a dry weight of approx 2460 lbs according to factory specs and a hitch weight of 330 lbs. This 1967 17ft AIRSTREAM CARAVEL has a Seating/Sleeping configuration of (1) Convertible Double sofa in the front galley and (1) convertible sofa at the streetside in a desireable “L” type configuration. It also has plenty of storage, a kitchenette with retro counters & original sink, Original (3) Burner stovetop, and a nice bath with full shower in the rear. Happy Retiree

Just ordered our 2015 FC 28 Rear Bed. Will be towing, hopefully with no problems, with our 2015 Tahoe with Andersen WD hitch. Ordered thru Tampa RV ( Stephen Weaver is awesome).

Anyone with a similar AS and TV rig, I'd like to hear your experience so far?

Low point pressurized drain petcocks

Had some freeze damage last year,but took my camper in for repair at the dealership. Everything tested and help pressure. So...I was in the process of winterizing my 2013 flying cloud and upon draining the low point ball valves. Both snapped off. It's clear that they froze and all it took was turning the gate valves open to finally shear off. My question is what is the other end of the nipple connected to. I got an easy out thinking I could just back out the brass nipple but, what ever it is connected to is turning. Is this something that anyone knows how to do. As it seemed like an easy fix but it goes through the water tank. Any help is greatly taken.
