Well, if you're headed to the OuterBanks of NC you might want to reconsider... The Tropical Depression (One) has been upgraded to TS Arthur, and by the time it gets to NC on Thurs/Fri, it will likely be a Cat 1 hurricane. Keep 'em pointed into the wind folks! And keep in mind the wind will shift as it passes by.

Multi Axle Tire Pressure Requirement
Okay, I switched to the "Airstream Option" of 16" wheels and LT tires. I am hard pressed to put more than 1800 pounds per tire on my triple axle Limited.
Is it correct to run max tire pressures of 80 psi in these new tires? I have read that this is a must for multi axle trailers as the side loads are higher since you are "dragging" the tires around corners. I have read in these Forums multi axle trailer tires need to be at max pressure.

Window repair
If this has been posted before please let me know.
I'm replacing the pano window on my 1976 26 foot Argosy on the roadside.
Looks like about 90 rivets
What is the best line of attack?
Should I drill all the rivets out or grind the heads off of them.
If drilling, what size drill bit is best? And what size rivets replace to hold the window frame in? Are there any special kinds of rivets that should be used?
Best kind of sealer or weather stripping for behind the window?
Any pitfalls that I should be aware of?
How many hours should it take?

New Product
Wonder if this could be developed for integration for RV's? I'd be very interested in trying this.

Selling our 2012 Flying Cloud 30' Sofa for 2015 Bunkhouse
Well, I foolishly stopped by Woodland Travel Center yesterday on my day off. They had a 2014 30' Bunkhouse on the lot that they are interested in selling, and the dealer convinced me to take a look, since we have 4 daughters. Honestly, if Airstream had produced the bunkhouse in 2012, we'd probably own it!
However, I started looking/comparing to the 2015 models, and ducted air looks pretty nice; especially when you consider air flow distribution in a 30' trailer when people are sleeping in both front and rear bedrooms with curtains closed.
We have solar/inverter on ours, and would be adding these options to a new model, as well as the awning package.
Any thoughts on what price difference I should expect between a new 2015 FC Bunkhouse vs. a 2014? What I should be able to get out of my 2012?
