How to change Mobius appearance?

Hi everyone,

I'm building a looper and it's very important to have a screen that shows all the loop status, sizes, modes etc... The problem is that the screen size it's small (7" aprox), and I want to make bigger the display components that shows mobius because there are a lot of space for it.

I'm using mobius as a vst plugin, how can I make it possible? I tried to edit the ui.xml but I can't save the changes.

Also, it would be cool to be able to change the font size, type etc...

Focus Lock Script?

Hi I was wondering of making a script that worked to toggle focus lock on and off on certain tracks?
For example having one pedal for activating focus lock and then once it is activated you press each track you want to use if that makes any sense to anyone? Would I have to make new script for each track to do this?
If anyone could help me out with this that would be great, I am using a 4 track setup,

Between replace and substitute

Hi all!

I'm trying to figure this out but I can't..
When you replace, the existing contents go mute and you write over.
When you substitute -disregarding the secondary feedback during the first pass- you still hear the pre existing material as you "overdub" on top of it.
Now what I'm looking for is a function or way to be able to listen what's there but getting erased by the new material as I'm recording it.
This could be very notorious if you have a guitar with delays or a synth pad running: hitting replace it will cut the sound form the get go and hitting substitute you would be doubling in volume if you are recording until the end of it and then it will depend on your secondary feedback setting..

Open Loop Function - Wav files play back slow

Hello! I've done some searching and I can't find anything relating to this issue, sorry if the question has been asked before. I find when I use the Open Loop function to load a .wav file recorded from another source that the file plays back noticeably slower than it does in any other application. For example one loop I'm working with is about 21 seconds long as recorded and takes about 26 seconds when loaded into Mobius. I haven't yet found a parameter to adjust the speed of pre-recorded loops, am I over looking something?

Offline html manual/User Guide?

Hi,
I'll be traveling and won't always be in places with an internet connection so I was wondering if there is an offline version of the html manuals (all of them!)?

If not already available, anybody know how one could be easily created? I tried with several online tools but the problem I always face is when you click one of the blue hyperlinks at the top of the documents which act as chapters, they redirect you to the online version!
This is not a huge problem but still really annoying since I can't easily navigate the document by quickly jumping to the appropriate chapters.

I imagine there must be a fairly easy way of doing this but I just don't have the technical knowledge for this kind of stuff...does anyone out there know how to do this...A self contained manual that maintains the hyperlinks redirecting internally to the document?

I would imagine this could be useful to a lot of people.

Can Mobius only save 8 Loops

Since I found out, I can use up to 16 Loops in Mobius, I started to sync behaviour of Mobius to my BeatBuddy DrumPedal.

So I am using 5 Loops for up to 5 Main Song Parts. Changing into new Part is effected by using a "transition", so I set up another 5 Loops to record a transition (mostly played one time...), then another 5 Loops to record "Fill" Parts (a Fill is played, then changing into next loop, going back to previous loob comes also with a preceding intro), and last but not least, an outro (I use the "outro" also within a song as Fill-Part to record, and to end a song I trigger the outro (BB), go to outro-Part (Mobius) by pressing Pedal, release effects Mobius to Global Mute...

In any Song Part, Transition and Fill-Part I can hold Pedal to record the loop, release starts the playing (short press goes to Part and play).

This all works very well and I am realy happy with this setup, but...

...now I realized, when saving Project it saves only the first 8 Loops.
Don´t know why, maybe it is cause I am going to the Loops 9-16 by using a Loop 8

This is my first post, I'm new to mobius and looping - I'm not even sure if what I'm trying to do is possible or even wise, but would really appreciate some feedback from anyone experienced.

I'm attempting to play live using some songs I've recorded in reaper as backing tracks

I have a song in reaper with various regions marked out - introduction, verse1, verse2, chorus1, instrumental etc

What I'm trying to do is repeat the introduction region in reaper and then record loops in Mobius live before moving the selection in reaper to the next region - verse1.

The problem I encounter is that Mobius seems to get confused when reaper loops back to the start of the region, the pie chart on the loop goes from full to 80%full and the loop gets out of sync.

I've spent hours fiddling with Sync Source, Sync Unit, Host Sync Unit, Realign time and any other likely looking parameters but without success.

Has anyone got any experience of using Mobius in this way? Is it even possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall (in a slightly out of sync manner).

Mobius gets random commands from Akai APC Mini

With an Akai Apc Mini connected to Mobius with no Midi Control bindings...

Mobius is somehow getting comands from the pad presses on the APC Mini... and I've not found a way to eliminate this...

- for example, pressing the bottom left pad (Column 1, Row 8) will make Mobius record, the pad to the right (C2, R8) will trigger overdub...
- I've cleared all the Midi Control bindings and Mobius is still somehow getting commands...

How is this possible? Where else does Mobius get Midi commands except through the bindings?

(obviously taking the Apc Mini out of the Mobius midi controller list stops the problem, but then I can't use the Apc Mini..)

I think I know the answer is no because I looked all over and I haven't found anything about it, but I'll go ahead and ask anyway because there's a loooot more knowledge about mobius here in the forums than my brain holds:
Is it possible to have layer bars on each track strip as opposed to only on the floating track strip that shows the track being highlighted?
We are two guys running 16 tracks on the same mobius and that would be really helpful.

No option for multi-output?

When running Mobius in Logic X or Mainstage, there's only an option for stereo out, not multi. In the Mobius setup I have the 8 different plugin ports arranged in my track setup, and I've set plugin port limit to 8 in the global parameters. What am I missing?

I am using 32 lives, maybe that's to blame?
