Bought this truck new. Had a 54g TransferFlow fuel tank installed. Now has 155K miles. Have replaced the fuel lift pump three times. Dodge claims a redesign installed in the tank instead of on the engine block has cured what Cummins claims is an undersized tank to engine fuel line. My Dodge service center says the tank mounted pump can not be installed in my tank. TransferFlow tech dept sees no reason it can't.
Do any of you have any experience to share here? But for the lift pump concern, I'd prefer to keep our truck. Thanks in advance for any insights.
